The history of this small town is tied up with much of the history of the whole surrounding area for many centuries. 12 km from the nearest train station at Grevesmuhlen and a short 3km from the Baltic coast. The locals say that as long as you can see the church tower, you are still in the ‚Klutzer Winkel’!
