| The hotel itself is ideally situated in Northwest Mecklenburg, atop a small rise, near the town of Klutz. The Baltic sea is a mere 10 km away-a lovely trip by car or bike through the meadows and fields. The village of Stellshagen itself has only about 200 inhabitants, and the main road through the village (the only one in fact!) ends at the Hotel.The whole area is covered with some old woodland , and is easily reachable by train-the nearest station is Grevesmuhlen, about 11 km away.The old Hanseatic ports of Wismar(35km) and Lubeck(25km) are easily reachable- ideal destinations for a great day out. Hamburg is a little over an hours drive away and Berlin about 3 hours drive. |
